hi...lomg time no see...last time we spoke id been made redundant and was in hospital, thankfully thiings got better quickly and i moved to london with a new job and...er...not being in hospital.

but anyway....im doing some new branding for this fashion range for men. this is a splash page for a web site

They kinda told me the sort of imagery they wanted to use so ive stuck to that, comics, dirty mags, etc...i personally find it a bit sexist...(whats wrong with being sexy?)...no sexist, but the market place is the market place for the type of man it is aimed at. So really just after a critique of the graphics themselves rather than any business angles.

i dunno about it to be honest, im completely undecided of whtehr i like or not...i get like this about my work.

to be honest i like it. good feel to it and the type go's with the imagery. BUT the dog at the bottom left looks odd. i kno every man likes a good chase from an alsation lol but it doesn't go. and the tiger maybe smaller or darker?

but other than that very good. i like it a lot.

the actual splash page has text undeneath that makes the dog more balanced, i get what you mean when looking at this picture alone though.

It goes through phases here of being busy and quiet, I wouldn't take it personally :)

The piece is very random, but I assume it ties(pun!) in with the style of clothing? I think the pending text should be a little more noticeable, it looks like important information, but with so much going on around it, you can easy miss it.

your text just gets lost when it shouldn't. like what the others say. i feel the tiger head is not working for some reason. Maybe because its so heads on with no depth that the contrast of that with the other pictures which are more dynamic dimensionally should be thought a bit more.
