I'm new!

Hi everyone! I’m new here...I’ve been on other forums before and am usually a lurker, but decided I ought to introduce myself this time. I’ve been freelancing the past 1.5 years, graduated two months ago, and am looking unsuccessfully for a full-time job.

I joined here because if I don’t talk about graphic design, read about it and keep learning, I think I’ll wither away creatively. I’ve been reading through a lof of threads and so far have really enjoyed the discussions.

Thanks for the awesome forum and I hope to learn a lot!

P.S.: Does this forum with okay with Firefox 3? The message box is acting funny.

When you have a moment, please take a look at the threads posted here (http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=42). They will explain a whole lot about the place, from the forum's rules and regulations to frequently discussed topics to the skinny on our many inside jokes.

What platform are you on? I use Firefox on my home PC and haven't had any troubles. There are others who have had issues here on GDF with Firefox 3. Check out the following threads, they may shed some light on what's going on.

Welcome aboard Ashley!

I've had some issues with Firefox 3 on my mac at home too. So don't worry you're not alone. I find if you just click the little box at the top of the text box to switch editor modes things work fine. I'm pretty sure there's a permanent fix, but I'm to lazy to actually do it on my machine, so I'm not sure what it is off the top of my head.
