I love the inside spreads. The typography treatment is lovely - especially that textured page.
Which means that the cover (in comparison) is a bit naff. I know you don't have nearly as much space to work with, but could you do some more interested type treatments on the front cover too?

I think the cover is oke, and the inside spread as well.
The typography on the front is on the save side, but it's working.
The inside is more interesting, because the characters going to work with each other. Maybe you can try it at the front like budafist sad, but i think it's not necessary.
The last page, I don't think it's cool at all :P
It looks like you scaled the font like crazy... And I think that the sticky ness doesn't realy work with it. It's a Helvetica right?
Maybe you can take the condenst black bold version... it has a cooler look.
So it realy will work with the facial expression of that dude ;)
Good Luck with it...

I'm with buda. I love that textured page. That's very attractive and I love how the crooked D leads you right into the photograph. Nice work.
I really like the textured page also. It has a great feel to it.
The third layout looks really nice also minus the 'er' at the bottom. It doesnt fill up the pages like the rest of the letters and just feels out of place.

The inside looks really good. However, I feel that cover is really boring and wouldn't catch anybody's eye at all sitting on a rack in a surrounded by a bunch of other magazines.
