Logo for review....(RE: Venting from previous thread)

So I vented about my client wanting only a blinged out logo...etc, here is what I have come up with. This was mostly directed by the client, little to no budget for development and little time allowed for development, however I am getting a little more satisfied with the final mark... Feedback. suggestions.

I have talked him into a simplified b&w version. Does the X read xpress?

The colours are ugly, the b+w version looks much better, although it has quite a lot of detail in it. If you are stuck with a difficult client, but he is happy with it, then just give it to him and forget about it.

why does the color version wheel have 5 spokes but the B/W one have 4 spokes? :confused:

I didn't see "xpress" until I read that's what it's supposed to say.
But it's early, and I haven't had coffee yet.

I'm not liking the duplication of what is supposed to be a random stroke to make the X.

the x looks like a palm tree and the state outline isn't helping this any, but if the client is happy with it hand it over and move on =]

I read it as an X, but I have no idea what the appendages making the X are supposed to be.
