Business card problem.

I'm busy with a business card. But I can't decide what I want.
Here below, two different thinks

I'm a minimalist, so Front 1 and black back. Although the reversed out text is hard to read... *shrugs*

I like them all actually, but I think I like the first one and second the best depending on what you want (being that they are totally opposite). I love the illy on the second one, but it looks like that girl has a penis next to her face (sorry, my dirty mind sees that).

I had the same association with that "thing" next to that girl.
And I prefer quiet designs, so my preferation is the first. The "simplicity" (the exact word in Dutch is: "sober" - Thijs will understand) in the card gives more quality to you.
Hope you understand - this one was hard to express myself in English.

love the cartoon version not too keen on the magenta version - I think they are slightly 'too' extreme from one another... could you perhaps block in some colour to the cartoon? I love that the cartoon being controversial - but would it back fire at some point?

I'm relieved it wasn't just me who saw that prodding her in the face...
Might not be the best idea for biz cards that get handed out, passed around, etc... where you have no control over who ends up with it. Seems better suited to a page in a teen boy's notebook than a professional business card.
Maybe you could try a different illustration?

Personally, the illustration has no business being on your business card, unless of course that's really the business your in. It's demeaning, inappropriate and offensive. If you handed me that card, I'd never call.

But the question is, do you want to work with people that doesn't understand the humour of it.

@Callendale: Yes it's possible to make another illustration. I think Iwill make different illustrations, so I can check what will work best.

I have a pretty wicked sense of humour but I still find it offensive. There's a time and a place. Save it for the pub or bar or laundromat. I just don't think it would be in your best interest for a legitimate business card. I'm not a prude by any means, I think it's too big of a risk. It's your card though. It could cost you some business on a permanent basis. People don't forget that easily.

BTW...the drawing is fun and has a humorous style on it's own. I think if you truly have a sense of humor, you can come up with something really smashing, without resorting to the sexual imagery.

front one is nice but logo not alligned good, can be better. nice illustration on front two, but logo kind of got lost can make it bigger or add some contrast...on black back the typeface is too tick i would say go with the logos font. i am not sure about the pink color because it does not match any of the others.

Just go for the #2 front as I guess no person will make a problem out of it. Europe always had a different view on approaching people then others, and I saw similar cards from graphic designers.

Personally, I guess the card is good, as long as you stick to the card and keep your whole business open minded and relax. A little 'blasphemy' is always nice, why always need to be so serious.

I'd go with the pink. though it's face melting bright and painful... it catches attention. Also, looks 100% more professional which goes a long way when impressing potential customers.
