I am working on logos this weekend for two different companies.
I am coming to you for some initial feedback.
1. A catering company that services mainly movie industry companies
Cook For Me (http://www.vikianderson.com/Portfolio/cook.asp)
2. A company that services Merchants and the Banking Industry
nsfhelp.com (http://www.vikianderson.com/Portfolio/nsfhelp_logo.asp)
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The first one looks good, but I'm not really sure the script font is as effective as it could be.
The second one is brilliant!
The more people I meet, the more I love my cats.
I like where the first one is going, but the script font seems a little out of place and almost overwhelming.
GREAT job on the second one! It looks really good!

I wonder if you might want to try working a serving-type tray into the first one? Might make for a neat effect!

Serving tray won't work for upscale.
Like the direction of the first as well, but maybe a script font that isn't quite so 'seriphed'. I think it's just a few too many curls in relation to the heavy block 'cook'. Maybe more like Palace Script than Flemish?

Love NSF, looking at type on a check tho, I see there is some points in the numbers that get almost to wide, for no reason at all, Maybe you could just try to simulate this on the type in NSF? particularly looking at a check and look at number 9 and 8 they have a weird transition in line width, maybe that could be reflected in one or two letters of the logo

i don't know if the 2 fonts go together that well in the first one.
i think the 2nd logo would look better if you made those ':||' symbols much thinner looking and a different color

I love the way that the 'o's look like stove burners.

i liked where you were going with the 1st set. your font on the 2nd set is, imho, overused and cliche. i think the marks that you are making (steam wisps) should speak more than the remedy font.
just my 2cents.

I love the last one, the first one was good, second was better, but to me the last is the best one so far. Keep it up!

i think you could stylise it even more, but the most visually impactful so far.
is impactful a word?

yeah i agree. i wasnt sure about the first two, but that last version is great. perhaps you could flip the white circle in the background to make it 'fall off' the black to create a subtle C shape and shift the spoon to the right to compensate.
just an idea.
