I suffer from RSI and I'm thinking of hooking up some software so I can use voice commands.
(I use both hands, a graphics tablet, etc, but it only delays the problem).
At least voice control will save me on the rudimentary tasks like opening programs, browsing for files, etc
I wonder if you can actually control a graphics program with the voice? Or if it can take over some of the commands anyway.

What's RSI?
I'm sure you could do some basic commands by voice. I'm not sure what the best software is though. I know XP has at least a very basic voice thing built in. Control Panel > Speech

I dont know about speech programs, I use speech quite a bit in my video gaming to cut down on keystrokes, I know one way that voice recognition would help you would be for typing letters or long documents. Instead of typing it just talk and it will type for you, run a good spell checker and punctuation editor afterwards and I would say about 90% of your typing goes out the window. For graphics programs I would think it would be very difficult.

Hey you have my sympathy if you've got RSI - Repetitive Strain Injury - the curse of the computer age. I've had it and it can be managed but if you can take a big break from the keyboard (like a month at least) you can get control of it. Look after your body - it's trying to tell you something
