Disabling Graphic Boxes Converting to Text

Does anyone know of a way to keep graphic boxes from converting to text boxes when you double click on them in Indesign? This is not a feature I enjoy and I want it gone.

INDesign > Preferences > Type, then uncheck the second option, "Type tool converts frames to text frames."
