Booked my hotel yesterday afternoon - got the news from a friend of a friend who knows the band. I'm crossing my fingers for tickets! I couldn't be anymore excited today!

I've been waiting for the forum to come back online just to tell ya! The hubby's getting himself on the ticket lottery and hoping for the best!

We're already discussing the monetary differences between flying and driving and whether he can handle driving over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (he really hates bridges, and it's 20 miles long, and he doesn't want to drive a car with out-of-state plates when the VA state cops know there's a Phish show around :rolleyes:).

Yeah I hear you about driving....pretty sure we'll be flying! Good luck on the lottery! I'm able to enter about 4-5 times....here's to hoping! Would be nice to meet you person too if we both get tix and go! :)

I love the intro video they put up w/ the drawing of the Hampton...is that Trey doing it? Hard to tell moving so fast but it looked like him.

well....you can't use the same name, address and cc...or use same name w/ a different cc at the same addy...BUT you can do same addy, different name...so my fiance and i can both enter and use our own cc. Then, I'll have my dad enter once for me (so long as my brother doesn't beat me to it!), And then my fiance's mom...so that would be 4 total for us.

My friend who gave us the inside scoop on the announcement yesterday said he entered 14 times the last time they revived, and he got tix....but thats 14, and i only got 4 . :P...who knows.....time will tell! I'm so excited I hope I get to see them again!!! I'm sure more dates will get announced in the near future tho.

I hope they don't cancel it out - same requests from same person, addy, and cc get canceled out.

i hope so too but if you read the text before the order page it says:

There is a limit of one ticket request per credit card. As a security measure, Phish Tickets will accept only one unique credit card number for each ticket request. If you attempt to place additional ticket requests with the same credit card number, all requests will be rejected. In addition, we will be filtering out multiple ticket requests made by the same person at the same billing address using different credit cards. Attempts to make multiple ticket requests by the same person at the same address may result in a low priority assignment or even rejection of your requests.

I think we may pass on this run of shows, not sure yet. Hopefully we'll get tickets for something more local or someplace farther and more exciting like Vegas. I dunno.

I hear ya...I'm at least going to try. My friend gave me some info on how I can possibly get tix 100% so I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens.

Hampton is supposed to be a pretty nice venue and a lot of fun around the area. I've only driven past it when I was visiting my brother in VA a few years ago.
