Anyone got experience with using adobe designer? I've used it a fair few times but have hit a bit of a snag, and although I think I have figured outa solution its long winded, and certainly not what I would expect the 'proper' way of doing it.
Basically I created a form for customer orders, its a very simple document, text fields for product name, then integer boxes for quanities and prices.
This carries through, creates a subtotal, adds % tax, and voila... one nice and neat branded order form, that I or a customer can use in PDF format.
Now, my problem has arrisen from the fact that I have started doing small goods, customers will typically order say 20 units, but each one will be different, and this needs to be on the order form as you can imagine, i.e. item is a bunch of flowers, available in countless colour combinations so each item has its own line...
Now, if you're still with me, I need this data to flow to the next sheet some how, and it to know to only total at the end of how ever many sheets there are, at the moment the last order I jsut did ran over two sheets, with a total on each page, that I then had to fiddle into one by inputting the previous sheets total as a unit... Am I making sense... anyone.. haha, please feel free to shout at me for being dumb... :D
