Hello.

I need to identify the font from this 'AMIGA' record-label:

No results on WhatTheFont.

Can someone help me please?

I'm not sure its a font. I have a feeling it was designed specifically for Amiga way back when.

I've haven't seen an A like that before

You can post this up to whatthefont forums ... they might know if it is indeed a font :)

Thank you for reply!

I just post 2 requests at whatthefont forums ...
until now without success.

Besides the 'A'. To which font can the remaining letters belong?

it's close to the some of the characters in the poster bodoni family ... maybe someone else will have a better comparison for you :)

Yeah, Poster Bodoni or it even has the same feeling as Stilla. Only not oblique.

That lowercase m is quite delightful.

Thank you for the tips with Poster Bodoni and stilla! :) :D

I can take lowercases 'a' and maybe 'm' from Stilla
and 'i' and 'g' from Poster Bodoni.

But capital 'A' remains a problem.

Possibly, however, there is a complete font (?).

There might have been a font, but if this is very old, maybe it was never digitised?

If a font gets created in the woods but no one is around to hear it, is it still a font?

:D

Because Amiga is a record label from GDR,
the font was probably created in asbestos ;).

And ... Yes. It is.

It seems that i have to create the font myself. :(
