Music events calendar

Objection: Create a music events calendar for both February and March. Both have to be flexible enough to change it out for the rest of the months.

Which layout looks better?
Should I use both colored backgrounds?
Or white background with colored accents?

I think the last one is the most pleasant to look at, but I think you can do better. They all have an awkward balance thing going on that makes me not want to look at them to long. Maybe try using different colours (or different tints of the same colour) to seperate sections rather than have it all the one colour.

Yeah I think #3 is the best looking one. I would maybe try using different shades or lines to seperate though as holycow77 says.

I think #1 is the best looking. I like the colored background. It adds punch to the design. :)

in #2, you could use more of those awesome lines to balance the layout. it's a bit right-hand heavy atm.
