I think the back looks great but I'm not so keen on the front... they seem to be two completely different styles.

I would make some alterations to the front:
Lose the rough boarder.
Change the colour of the background.
Make the front tie in with the back design slightly.

I agree with Reed about making the front tie in to the back to give the card a unified look.

The back is a neat design, but it worries me. The printing companies I worked for were VERY wary about doing a flood coat of a dark colored ink. It gave them all kinds of headaches in the production department to get even coverage, tracking, dry time, etc. Of course, we WERE able to do it and achieve pretty good results using coated stock, but that was on a 40' Heidelberg press, so the cards were run a bazillion at a time.

I guess what I'm saying is that you may want to check with the printer ahead of time to see if they can do this.

The more people I meet, the more I love my cats.

I like the logo and the style of the front of the card but I am not a fan of the back. I almost don't see a need for it. Agree about it being a different style. I would leave it off, personally. I think it would look great without it. Good choice of colors and I love the edges of the boxes. Good work!

That's not bad, will the black have texture. That would be kind of interesting. When you hold it in your hand and rub your thumb on it there is a sensory boost.

What do I look like a smoken monkey?

The logo looks great but the front of your BC looks like a quick fix. You can let the logo hold the weight of the design but your brown background doesn't compliment it. Maybe use the logo with elements of that logo used for design and using a simple font so for your text so the logo doesn't get engolfed into the design. In other works contrast your elements as you would colors.

Good job on the logo! ;)

Graphic Design Heroes! Call me Captain Type Caster. I’ve fought off “The Evil Cosmic Sans” for year but it seems “Dr. Extreme Untalent” keeps bringing him back. I must find a way to defeat this evil creature.

Capt. Creative bring me those comps…

I wonder what they'd look like textured? Nice logo, suppose its hard to come up with new concepts in coffee logos?
