Whoa. I am TIRED. Spent a bunch of time chasing down crap for these card ideas and taking pictures.
Anyhow. Critiques? It's for a sales company that publishes industry books (that's their book in the photo.) I need to get them finished ASAP, so any feedback would be great.

They both look professional and the photos look good.
As a card they are a little bit dark for me but I think that's more a personal thing.

First one is looking better. Much better. Typography stands more elegant, softer...etc. The photo is better too.
Cant give you larger explanation, because of my english - this would be torture to me!
Just trust me :-)))

I like the first one better. It's got a good look to it. I think the second one is titled too much. Kind of makes me feel like I need to hold on to something...ha! The only thing I would like to see with the first one is maybe the company name not blurred as much. Kind of in between the first one and second one. Sweet pic too. I love the way the candles reflect off the table. I also like the single line of text. Allows you to see more of the picture and I think that's what Christmas cards are about. I also like the lighting of it. Warm and fuzzy!

Consensus among other folks I've shown it to seems to be #1 is best.
I'm doing two more tonight, so I'll post those when I'm done as well.
Thanks for the feedback!

I also prefer the first one, it has a cozy winter's evening feel to it!
I think the text box is a bit strong on the second card. could try lowering the opacity (if you haven't tried that already)?

I'm using Quark for the text part, but I might try doing the text in a cream color.
