Hello everyone,
I just got CS installed on my computers at work last week and now have GoLive for the first time. Since I have the program they now want me to design a website for our Contract Packaging division. I do regular updates/additions to our regular website through HTML coding, however I have never built a site any other way than straight HTML. I'm finding tutorials for GoLive and learning what I can about using the program, but the IT department has asked a question and I would like to know if anyone can help me answer it or if it is a non-issue. The question is do sites built in GoLive require any special server side programing or we will be to FTP the site and have it work with no special programing needed? Any help you can give would be appreciated.
Thanks

I built my site in GoLive, and after I finished, I FTP'd it up and it worked fine without any problems. I have also changed up my site a couple times without any problems at all. You shouldnt have to do any special programming.

It should output regular HTML files (badly coded ones). I suggest you stick to hand coding.

just FYI - there are alot of useful and very easy to undertand tutorials for GoLive on Adobe's site. I really like this program so far. Its so integrating with all the other Adobe software which makes life easier too! LOL
