POP UP WINDOWS AND PDF LINKS

I have images on my website and I want them to link to pop up windows that show a larger version of the images. My site is in Dreamweaver. I don't know code and am a beginner at web design, how do I do this???? I also want to make a link that links to a PDF file. I tried to this by just having my text link to the pdf file instea dof a page and it worked when I preiview in browser but not when I actualyl put it online, says it can't find the file (pdf)...any advice on that too?? Thanks!

There may be something off with your code. Can you supply a link to your site?


Another thing it might be is how you name your PDF. If there are spaces, I think that can make it screwy. Just thoughts.

sounds like your path might be wrong or ^ name of the file.
