I'm doing a job that's one color printed on a color background.
I'd like to print the photo so the black shows up black and the white turns into the color of the background it's being printed on.
In Photoshop I can easily make it look this way by setting the photo to multiply, it drops out all the white and just leaves the black, but of course if I turn off my "fake color bottom layer" the photo then changes back to b&w because it has nothing to multiply against.
so short of selecting all the white out of a photo which won't work because of grey tones, how can i get it to print this way?
