how to make smaller version ?

hey im new here but have really got a lot from u guys in a short period thanx
anyways i need to dent some of my work to a guy in canada and need to make my file sizes small enough to send via email.
how would i go about this and still keep the quality of the images?

I haven't lost my mind... it's backed up on disk somewhere.

I usually send my pdf's at around 10xfall at 100dpi, its usually big enough to print it if they want to. my 2 cents

thanks i was planning on using a pdf but have very little knowlage of how to decrease the size will try what u advised though
