No "Drop Shadow" option in my Illustrator 10!

Hello,
THis may be silly to the experts, but I am trying to do a drop shadow, in Illustrator 10, and under Effects>Stylize it only has "Glowing Edges..." and it is greyed out. Where is Drop Shadow?

Hope someone can help!

I am on a Mac.

I'm pretty sure that didn't appear until CS. You can do the same thing with a guassian blur in PS.

Are you sure you're looking at the right Stylize option?

doh! Must've been 8 that didn't have it.

I'm not sure 9 did either. But 9 is when Transparency showed up so it may have.

If using fuzzy drop shadows in Illy you HAVE to use the Effect. If you use the Filter be darn sure your Raster Effects Setting is at the appropriate resolution for output cuz you can't change a Filter like you can change an Effect. The default is too low!
Don't forget to multiply when scaling... :D
