InDesign Hyperlinks to PDFs

Hello,

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to put hyperlinks into PDFs from InDesign... (CS3)

I've looked at the InDesign help - seems straight forward and simple enough... the problem is, after following the instructions (to the letter) the links do not show up in my PDF.

I've tried every option with no success and can not figure out why it's not working.

If anyone could point me somewhere with more in depth instructions or give any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

This may be an obvious question, but do you have "include hyperlinks" checked form the Export PDF dialogue box when you export it out from InDesign.

well it should have been obvious enough, but that appears to have been the problem...
It is normally default - didn't even check...

That's what I get for trying to rush without thinking... wow, do I feel stupid

No problem. It happens to all of us at times. Except for me of course because I'm perfect. ;)

Just kidding. At least now you know (how to get your hyperlinks that is ... not about me being perfect.)
