Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Moving Adobe from PC to Mac?
I use a PC at home but am thinking of buying a Mac. The problem is my Adobe CS3 Suite is for the PC. Is there a way to "swap" versions or anything without having to buy the full Mac version? Can it be possible?
Thanks.

In the past Adobe did offer "cross-grades" where you could "upgrade" to the Mac version from PC ... the only way to find out is to contact them. I don't believe that info is on their website.

Cross-grading is an option, but you have to call Adobe customer service directly in order to get a price and place an order.

The Apple store here in Canada has been offering people to bring in their PC, they will trade up all your files to work on your Mac and work out programs for you. Might be worth a call to them as well. (you have to buy a new computer from them to get the deal I think but you can ask).
Or yes... call Adobe's customer service. They are very helpful!

lol. True true Virgo...
at least you aren't usually on hold for more than 10 minutes (at least in my experience).
The cable company here in town will put you on hold for upwards of 45 minutes!! that I hate... a lot!

But are they doing it through BootCamp or any other Virtual PC programming?
That can suck in many ways and also slowdown program usage.

I don't know the answer to that PD. I just know it's been the big talk up here. As alot of people are moving to Mac from PC.
Bladez and I already run on Mac (just got rid of my ancient PC a little while ago) so I haven't looked into it much further.
