OK, so I have been using aCRT for a long time, but was wondering if anyone could give me insight as to why or if I should switch to LCD. Also, if LCD is the way to go, can anyone make some suggestions on a good one that isnt ridiculously out of my price range like the apple monitors.
I am thinking less than $700

Thanks in advance!

LCDs don't have as sharp of picture as CRTs, but LCDs do have better color and are easier on the eyes..
i couldn't imagine you getting your money's worth without spending over $1000 (unless you get a really small one). cheap LCDs are known to lose pixels just after one year.
