Hey all,
I have a cannon printer and I am trying to print things out but the image is coming out crooked! It isn't super noticeable unless I have a design that has a border design around the edge(of course at this moment I do!)
Do any of you have experience dealing with this kind of issue? It is really wasting my time! I checked the paper and it is perfectly straight and when the paper feeds it seems to be going in straight as well...
Thoughts?!

When you say a border design, do you mean a bleed? Or a border close to the edge? You need to take into account the gripper.

My printer will print bleeds and all. I was just giving an example of when it is most noticeable, as in when I have a 8.5x11" print with a design all around the edge/border you can especially tell it is printing crooked.

Feeding from the tray? Side guides catawompus? Roller need some grease?
If the crookedness is consistent in it's uhh crookedness, you probably have a decent shot at fixing it. Or you could always cut them down at an angle. If each prints a little different from the last, you might be SOL.

Gloss stocks and thick paper can sometimes be the culprit.
If it is consistently crooked, some print drivers have an option of rotating the image slightly.

it is a canon mp600. If I can't get this hunk a junk fixed I will probably have to start looking at newer and better printers. I have tried to google it but I am not getting the best results so far.
It does print crooked pretty consistently and when I print small sizes it is even more crooked than the larger size. I am thinking it could be a roller issue? hm....

There's inconsistency in your rollers; one's got a little more tension than the rest or something. You'll probably get the best bearing printing to a full sheet , or printing the smaller stuff with the long side as the leading edge. Maybe whip out a protractor and rotate everything you're printing a degree or two.

Try using a cotton swab or soft rag and wipe the rollers-feeders with isopropyl alcohol, let dry and try again.
Either roller pressure is off or your rollers are worn. Is it an old printer?
