CS4 on Backorder?

Anyone else purchase Adobe CS4 in the last month or so? Have you actually gotten it?

I ordered the box through Adobe (with the actual discs, as I plan on a hard drive replacement and didn't want to download) on February 27th to take advantage of a discounted upgrade price. The order page on their site says the status is "Pending", and the estimated delivery date was March 6th. Have gotten nothing yet.

I called Customer Service twice, and both times they claimed that it was at the warehouse and about to be shipped, and that I should receive an email within a day with a tracking number. The second time the guy mentioned something about a backorder, but still said it was about to go out. Nothing yet.

I tried looking through the Googe to see if this was a known issue right now, and the only thing I saw was about a backorder of the download as of late January because of limited licenses being able to be given out or something.

I'm about to call a third time, but I was wondering if anyone else had ordered it and not received anything.

i haven't ordered it, but you should see you can change the order to the Downloadable version and have them ship you the optional back up discs.

the back up discs are the same as the retail discs, they just don't come in the fancy box packaging and manuals.
