In our office we have a Tektronix Phaser 850 thermal wax printer which we use to do short runs of materials that would be too expensive to send to a professional printer. I'm looking for paper recommendations to use with it. We currently use a general Hammermill stock and a Neenah linen paper, but I'd like to include other stocks like glossy, satin, and extra bright papers. What brands/distributors/papers would you recommend? I really like some of HP's bright papers that they make for InkJets, but I didn't know if I have better options.

Thanks,
Nate

I would call a local paper supplier and have a rep visit your office. They often know what stock is suitable for specific machines, and they will give you free samples of different ones if you give them the idea that you will eventually buy some. The local ones here (East TN) are Dillard, Xpedx, PaperPlus, and Athens, but I'm not really sure if any of those are national companies.
