Which Version of Photoshop would be best for Graphics Rendering?

Hello people I was going through much software to create some customize graphics but I got suck at many places. Yea I am good in Photoshop but like to know to your views which Photoshop version will be good for creating eye catching graphics.

If you do suggest some other platform that will be also appreciated..

Any version of Photoshop will do to create rasterized imagery. The newer the better of course, if you want all the bells and whistles.

You could also use Gimp but be careful if submitting work for print.

Eye Catching Graphics on the other hand needs to be defined a little better. Photoshop is an image editting and creation tool, not a graphic layout program.

It's not the program that creates eye catching graphics, it's the artist/designer that does. Photoshop is just 1 tool, like a paint brush, in an artists arsenal of many tools to reach the end result.

What kind of graphics are you looking to create?

If you're asking which Photoshop is the best, go with with the latest and greatest... CS4. But it can be quite pricey when purchased by itself.
