I'm a flash newb. I have both CS3, and CS4 at home. We use CS3 at school. I'm working on a project and I wanted to use the "3D" tool in CS4 to make a particular part of it work. I don't want to work exclusively in CS4 because I want to be able to work on my project during class time, where we use CS3.

Anyway, long story short, I thought I could animate a particular part using the 3D tool in CS4, and then import the .swf file into my CS3 main movie. But, it's not working. The clip is all jumbled up when I do that. Is it just not possible or am I doing something wrong?

Well... How are you importing it?

Well, I just "publish" it from CS4 as a .swf. Then, in CS3, I do file>import to library and select the .swf file that was published from CS4. But, the file is all messed up when I do that.

For the past few minutes I've been playing around with the publish settings in CS4. Apparently the 3D tweens will only work if they're published as flash player 10 which what I'm guessing is the problem (CS3 only goes up to flash player 9).
