Windows XP, CS4
For some reason I've been avoiding using bridge like the plague. I had a project and figure might as well give it a shot. I like it.
Anyway I was wondering what the colored bars under some of the pictures i'm using are. They are different colors (purple, yellow) and look like they have sort of rating starts that you can move back and forth.
Any ideas?

Do you have Macs on your network as well?

One. Its ancient (i think OS 8 or 9 maybe?), We only use it to run the imagesetter which is rarely, so it's only turned on about an hour a week since we went to the platesetter.

I thought it was the mac labeling as well, it' actually labeling within Bridge. If you right click on an item you can label it which changes the color bar. The star rating is for anythign, it just lets you rank items essentially, so images, files, etc. that you use often might be 5 star, ones that you don't would be 1 star.

You can change the Labels "names" under Bridge's preferences if you want to as well .... much in the same way that Macs can change file/folder labels in the system.

I use the bars to label pictures if I'm picking out favorites.
BTW: I've been out of touch here too long...I read the "Bridge" title and thought "cards?" :o
