Here is my site i've been designing.

I wanted the site to open in a popup at the users discretion but unfortunately most popup blockers just swat anything.
So it only works in half of my visitors.

This page is just a page thrown together.
Use the 2 links to see the design.

I love how it looks in the popup.
But due to the popup blocker factor I had to make a regular html page as well.
What do you guys think of the 2.

And if u have any ideas how to get around the popup blockers. Let me know.

You can use html-compliant javascript script for popups, so that the window will open with or without javascript. I've not tested how it would work with a popup blocker though. I imagine the javascript is triggered for the popup blocker to activate, so it probably wouldn't work.

I think it'd be worth experimenting, as there would be alot of sites out there right now that would be hampered by popupblockers (particularly IE SP2s). Some alternative method would need to be considered for this new problem, should it not work.

Personally, I have a visceral reaction to pop-ups and love the IE SP2 pop-up blocker. I prefer your site when it doesn’t pop-up. And yes, I like the idea of throwing in some Flash elements as well to spice up the site instead of going the pop-up route.
