So I came here?!

I can't find a hardware section in here so I hope I'm posting in the right place.

After years of using Photoshop, Illustrator and all the rest on a 14" ancient (Flouro Orange, I was into trance at the time) monitor, I've decided to give my eyes a rest and get a 21".

Has anyone got any suggestions? I'm using the above plus all the usual suspects like Flash, Maya, After Effects... Mainly for screen but also for print. Just wondering if there's anything I should look for?

Cheers

welcome to the forum, mr v. everyone has a turkey hangover. someone will give you some real advice one day soon, but this topic, as most others, has been covered before. try digging through the site - you might get lucky.

I've got a ViewSonic that I like, but if you're using a Mac and can drop the cash, I'd say go with an Apple flat screen. The one on my laptop is really nice, and the color is pretty trustworthy too. You really can't beat the quality, either (but you'll pay for it)

The ViewSonic that I have is a 19' (for my main work, coupled with a no-name 17') Professional Series P95f+ - Good color, no problems with it. Kills my eyes compared to the laptop flatscreen though...
