Can anyone suggest a very good substitute for the font Optima? I have a hundred copies of Optima that for some reason is crashing Indy everytime I print to the rip.

Good Call Yoss.

From the Optima Wiki
Optima is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Hermann Zapf between 1952-1955 for the D. Stempel AG foundry, Frankfurt, Germany.

In the Bitstream font collection, Zapf Humanist is provided as an Optima clone. Other Optima clones include Optane from the WSI Fonts collection, Opulent by Rubicon Computer Labs Inc., Ottawa from Corel, CG Omega and Eterna. Freely available implementations include MgOpen Cosmetica (Available with open source license) and URW Classico (available with URW Font package from Ghostscript).

Thanks everyone. As soon as I posted I realized I forgot one more method to make the file rip using Optima. Create outlines in Indy and sure enough it worked.:)

IIRC Optima is one of the 'faces that version is important for OSX. There were a few pre-1990 'faces that cause this problem. I think it was the John Nack or Thomas Phinney blog. I'll poke around & see. If you get a newer, Opentype Optima this shouldn't happen.
