You guys..I'm dying here. I'm coming up on my last week of school. I have 3 major projects due. For my Pubication Design class, my final project is an avant garde magazine. She wants the subject to be completely out of the blue, and I'm having a hard time finding a tpic. But we only have a week from today left to do it. Would you guys mind helping me out a little bit and maybe think of soem avant garde out of the blue random topics???? I'll show my....well..we'll see how good your tpics are....lol /emoticons/bootyshake.gif

Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists.... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.

so...what sort of avant-garde arts, artists, ads, packaging, websites, books, fashion, etc, etc, have you seen lately? wouldn't it be good if you could find someone you know who's doing something a little batty? anyone in your school on a fine arts course, trying to push some boundries? got a camera?

Pubication - LOL! Sorry - I know it's a typo but even after doing "Pubic Image" headlines in a newspaper myself, I still laugh...

You mean you have to write articles and stuff on newfangled stuffages? Or just design something newfangled and artsyfartsy?

And what's a smidgen? Is that a unit of measurement like a peck, a pinch, a modicum, a bit?
If you get a lot of help is that a kilosmidge or a megasmidge?
Is a little a millismidge or a minismidge?


Hey you could base your avante garde thing on emoticons and the wierd shortspeak we use on instant messaging things...that's fairly new...uh...for the teacher anyway...

What about a magazine investigating and reporting on sightings of people's souls - call it Soul Searching maybe - and take loads of pictures with a digicam of smoke, vapour, slime, gunge, strange lights...anything like that...and just make up loads of articles (if that's what you have to do).
