Should I get the Gameboy Advance or the Gameboy Advance SP? What's the real difference (besides shape)? Do all the games play the same? etc... Thanks!
Building on the success of the spectacular Game Boy Advance, the Game Boy Advance SP features a revolutionary Front Light Screen making gameplay easy in any lighting condition. Powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, you're good for about 10 hours of gameplay with only three hours needed to recharge. All current and future Game Boy Advance games are compatible with the new system, and the GBA SP is backward compatible, allowing access to a massive library of games and accessories.
got that off ebgames.com :)

SP is better than the original, but the new DS (Dual Screen) system is out now. Better, but more expensive.

If you want to get technical, the Nintendo DS is 'not' a Gameboy, it's a completely seperate product from the Gameboy line and not considered the successor to that system. I think having two lines simultaneously is kind of stupid, but I guess Nintendo felt they had to get something out to compete with the looming Sony PSP.
