RIP 9-27-98 ~ 12-2-04

Ruby was one of the sweetest things to happen to me. Given to me by an ex while I was in college, she kept me sain. For the first couple weeks I had her she never left my arms, and this in turn made her one of the friendliest ferrets I have ever known. She was super sweet, had a kickass personality, and never bit or hurt anyone. I awoke this morning to find her dead, im sure it still hasnt sunk in fully, but I have been balling my eyes out all morning. Something about seeing your animal dead, it just really hurt to see her like that.

You will be missed Ruby, you were by far the coolest ferret known to man, I love you, may you find peace in ferret heaven.

im having a very difficult time even looking somewhat normal, if I could stop crying I might make it into work today

I'm sorry that you lost your pet D-Frag! I know its hard when you lose the one thing that always seems to be there for you no matter what. Animals are great that way. Just remember what a great pet Ruby was!

Oh man I am so sorry /emoticons/shakehead.gif I know that losing a pet can be every bit as hard as losing any friend. My advice, and I have been through this many times, is to get another one as soon as possible. The new one will never replace Ruby but it will go a long way towards filling that hole in your life that Ruby's passing left.

I love children but I don't think I could eat a whole one.

Hey D-Frag, It's so tough loosing a pet, especially one you've had for so long. I remember loosing both my childhood dogs within 18 months of each other. It's really difficult, even though when you get them, you know they aren't going to live forever, it's so tough loosing them.

Just remember all the good times you had together, print off some photos and keep her memory fresh in your head.

So sorry for your loss, D-frag. Be comforted in knowing that you gave her the best life she could have had, and that she knew what it was like to truly be loved. She will always be a part of you because she shared your life for all those years.

Like Kool said, while another pet could never replace her, it could help to fill the void left by her passing. It can hurt SO much to lose one that we love, but it's another tragedy altogether when someone with so much love to give avoids sharing that love again.

Hang in there. {{hugs}}

I haven't lost my mind... it's backed up on disk somewhere.

I totally feel for you... I lost my best friend in the whole world... my cat Tessie. Had her for 10 years.
I still havn't gone to the grave my parents made for her. I cried for days, and still get misty eyed everytime I go to my parents house where she is burried!

I would have gotten another cat asap... but I'm not allowed animals where I live, my 'rents were taking care of Tessie.
It's tough... hang in there D-Frag!

WHAT IS BOOBY ISLAND????????

I missed out... :(

:(

I too found one of my dogs dead in the laundry room once. I'm still dealing with it four and a half years later.

Best thing to do is get another pet as soon as you think you can manage. The empty hole is at times unbearable. As soon as I can move out of my dad's I'm taking my dog from my mom's and getting her a friend. The hard part is finding a home where I can do that though.

Hugs dude! I wouldn't really recommend going to work today. Once the shock wears off it's best to be alone or with a very close friend--not at work.

Well, that sucks ass Kris. It's all part of nature's cycle...doesn't make it any easier though.

Sucks to hear bro. It's always really rough losing a great friend. Keep your head up, and as soon as you think you can handle it, get a new pet, a different colored ferret, or even a different animal alltogether. It'll be good to have a new buddy around to help ease the pain.

Aw, man.
Sorry D-Frag.
Hope you can find it in your heart to take in another. Not right away, but soon. It'll help.
