Design critique

I am working on a site for StainlessTrays.com. I am going for a industrial look, with a bit of tech thrown in for good measure. I like the grey and orange, though I think red would look better. I am sick of looking at it right now, as its late and I should go to bed. Any suggestions on how I could improve what i have?

I think it looks great. What changes are you thinking about?

Red wouldn't look as good as orange on silver. I would stick with the silver.

I am using orange to contrast with the dull tones of the silver, but I have a thing for red. So I was thinking of using that instead of orange. However, after looking at it again this morning, I am not going too ;)

So when are we going to get a fully functional version to look at?

Also I've been looking through alot of tutorials and piecing things together to learn PHP when I look on the shelf and find that I had purchased PHP and MySQL from Peachpit Press. LOL! I can't believe I wasted all this time and I had the source right in front of me.

If the client likes this layout, then I will start writing it up tonight.

hehe. Cool that you have a good source to look at. I have google, which is enough i guess. I would still prefer to look through a comprehensive book explaining the how & why.

This looks great...don't go red just bc you like it! Please :o) I think the orange works nicely! Plus you really don't see alotta orange on the web and you see TONZ of red. Orange is one of the main reasons I like the Cingular website and logo so much - it breaks the norm. I am so tired of RED and YELLOW..ARGH :o) Can't wait to see it functional!

I would consider making the 'about' a slanted tab as well, looks odd next to the products tab, and everything else is tabbed as well. Being nitpicky. :) Looks nice

Well, I'm about finished with this project. I think that it is going to be a nice addition to my portfolio :)

The admin panel is working. I even figured out how to get thumbnails out of images that are uploaded, so the client only needs to upload ONE image :)

Only a few things left, and i can focus on http://ecsyle.sytes.net/content/eskador/, which is our 'team' of freelance artists.

I think the site looks great - I love the cleanliness and sterility. You stayed away from extraneous elements which would detract from the message of the total piece.
