Is there a way to make row of a worksheet stationary so that it doesn't scroll with the rest of the page? Such as the heading of a table. I thought I'd seen it done before, but I cant figure out how.

Ryan, I have a pretty old version of Excel but it should still be the same.

First go to Window/split
Then if you don't need the vertical split just drag it to the left into the row numbers to get rid of it.
Then set the horizontal window divider thingy at the bottom of the part you don't want to scroll.
Then go to Window/freeze panes.

This should do it. /emoticons/cool.gif

Which version, cuz I just choose the entire row below the one I want to freeze the go to Window/freeze panes.

PrintDriver is a grande format digital print dude. His advice/opinions may not apply to the 4color/offset/web world of printing

LOL, I have 95. I just never found any reason to upgrade. PD's method works in mine too. Not sure why I've always done it the hard way LOL. I didn't like the way 97 put the VBA mods in a different place. Plus they added a bunch of other crap I never used. I like having the mods as a tab right there at the bottom so I don't have to hunt around for them. /emoticons/biggrin.gif
