I'm on my way in a little bit to get a new desk. Originally it was $109 now I'll be picking it up on "back to school" sale for $49. :D And it has bars that I can strap wires too so that the cats can't pull suff off the desk anymore. yay!
My current desk is about 11 years old and is held together by a few angle brackets, a couple screws, and good wishes. It lost it's corner wing about 5 years ago.
So the "office" is currently being stuffed under too much stuff. This weekend I'm pulling everything out and redoing the whole area. The area is only a small nook between the living room and my kitchen. But it's where I spend a huge part of my at home time.
Pictures of before and after coming soon.
***poor Mowsers will have to find a new hiding place from under my chair this week. ***
<< is super happy to finally get the office back in order.
:D

Woot!
Our desk at home is actually a dining table we bought or $1.50 secondhand (we had a $2 coin and let them keep the change). It's super sturdy though and fits our 2 computers and printer. No drawers though. Drawers would be nice.

A few months ago I replaced my tiny Ikea student desk with two Ikea desk-end things and a piece of 1/2" glass I found sitting in my basement spanned across them.
New desks are always a smile. Congrats Drazan!
That's always fun...it will feel like a new space for sure!

jessh... i thought that cheap, i wonder how the new zealand dollar converts to US so, thanks googe it's even less in US $1.50 = $1.01
now that's a cheap desk.
i"m also trying to picture a $2 coin, our coins get larger per there value (well most of them) & no one carries anything larger than a quarter

lol, I had the same problem too, so I just rented out another studio in the same office building to separate my tasks. ;) Best move I ever made...

BTW, someone in my office really did take my stapler. And it really did annoy me. But I didn't want to say anything, because it would sound too much like Office Space.

LOL Ben. I'm pretty anal about losing office supplies. Thanks to a project that took us away from cube world, all mine are now labeled.Well, most. I realized yesterday I'm missing my tape measure.
That's cool, Drazan. Sounds like a good project.
