this is a question for the marketing pros, one of which i am not. we are launching our new standards compliant site shortly and would like to get some feedback from folks on their current marketing strategies. i've jotted down some ideas and can't seem to come up with anything solid as far as marketing our new services.
any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of company do you have/work for?
Depending on what your company does, there are a lot of things you can do. Here are some suggestions:
1. If you send out invoices/bills to clients, you can include bill stuffers promoting the new site.
2. You can send out postcards
3. If you have an e-mail list, send out a monthly newsletter to tell web users/prospective web users about the new site. Also a good way to continually drive traffic to your site.
4. Set up special promotions through your site in conjunction with clients, so that people have a reason to visit your site. Hopefully, they will stick around once they're there.
This is all very vague, if I knew more I could help.
