In the process of changing our name/logo, I have to update a lot of Word documents with the new logo (ugh). In the past, I've saved the logo from Illustrator as a png or jpg to import to Word. However, now of course after I save from Word as a PDF, the logo image is not clear at all. This is not just a viewing issue, it prints this way as well. Any ideas? Tried a quick Google search, but got nothing helpful.

Thanks!

You can export as an emf from Illy, that will keep it vector.

If you go the EMF route or WMF route, be warned that curved shapes in your logo may end up being more like a close collection of straight lines. They tend to add a lot of points and not support truly round shapes (at least my dealings with emf and wmf files in the past.

You can also stick with your pngs, but when creating your PDF from Word make sure to use higher settings, or, yes, your logo will look pretty awful.
