Can't get this song out of my head...

Help! Have you ever had one of those songs you hear on the way to work in the morning and it just won't go away as you sit at your computer trying to work? Here is what is running through my head right now....

the worst one for me was years ago when I had to take the SAT's - sat down, the test began, and I could NOT concentrate because the words to a song were stuck in my head! drove me nuts!

I got the Mario Bros. theme stuck in my head at work a couple of weeks ago. I decided to take advantage of the moment by finding all of the screaming and crying kids in the store, leaping twenty feet in the air, and stomping them in the head and crushing them to death (perhaps I had a "super mushroom"...if you know what I mean). It was all fine and good until my boss showed up and started jumping in the air, breathing fire at me, and throwing hammers all over the place, so I just ran underneath him when he jumped and bolted out of the place.

I've got that tune from the Muppets currently pestering my psyche - you know, the one that goes 'Menamena..da da d'da da...menamena...da da da da...menamena...da da d'da da d'da da d'da da d'da da da da da' and it's going in a constant loop as well. I wish it was something like Bohemian Rhapsody or Radiohead's Paranoid Android instead - something with a few different sections and a bit of dynamic variety to it - but no, I'm stuck with the pancaking Muppets and the frickin' menamena song or whatever it's called. In my head i've remixed it using a really fast breakbeat and given it big fuzz guitars but it's too cuddly a tune for that. I can feel the braincells dying off as we speak.
