I have a project for school where I need to track the growth development of a certain character of a book.
The closest to what I want to do is the MAC OSX welcome video, the one that makes it look like you're flying and stuff, meanwhile throwing text at you. I'm not necessarily looking for similar graphics, but I want a software or program that will allow me to make something with the same idea- a program into which I can enter text, and make a movie where it kind of throws it out into the screen in creative ways.
Any suggestions? I don't know Flash or anything, so I couldn't make the movie myself.
Again, I'm not trying to design anything myself. I'm looking basically for a neat video that someone has already designed, that can allow me to input my own text to be shown.

Dan, welcome to GDF. Your first few posts are moderated. I deleted your duplicate thread.

Please have a look at these important threads posted here (http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=42). They will explain a lot about how the forum runs, from the rules and regulations to frequently discussed topics to the background on some of our lingo and inside jokes.

I don't know of a program like you describe other than Flash or possibly AfterEffects.

Automatically? Not likely... I have never seen anything anywhere that easy to edit and change.

Sorry.

Actually the most automated text annimation effects would be in After effects.

Adobe After effects has a library of effects built in. You just type the word you want then navigate to the effects menu and choose your effect.

After Effects can also output to a movie.

search for "after effects text animation" on you tube for several examples.

It's not totally automatic, but it's probably as close as you are going to get.

download a trial?

if it's only for one project for school, the trial will be sufficient.

I think educational pricing would be significantly less, but haven't checked...
