This was from a class I had in college to take a famous artist and re-create his art using a different medium. I chose prismacolors for there ease of use. I also like the fact that its in blk/wht. You can get a feeling for the original here http://otica.fateback.com/Duas60.html


Prismacolor markers, white chalk, light table, and around 8 hours of time.

LOL no I'm just kidding. It's pretty good.

You did the shading with markers? Man they didn't teach you about Conte Crayons they are amazing when it comes to shading. Although for using Markers you did a bang up job.

Nice marker rendering D-Frag!!

Man I had to do a BW and a color one in college too. Mine (the color) was a hand holding a baseball with a world series ring on..heh. Ima baseball fan...LOL

FuSion - visit yer local art supply store and you will see what conte crayons are. They're realy easy to blend...

i would have definitely used conte...

my only problem: the shading isn't enough. it's there, but it's not rendered enough to make it look 3-D, you dig?
other than that, i like it. you should have drawn some people to create the teeth man!
