You might remember this from a while back. Anyway the site is progressing and here it is (http://www.jackfruitdesign.com/designs/culturaltours) (in progress)

All of the tours pages are finished. Some of the other links along the top don't work yet. The 'Special Offers' page is a blog-style thing that can be updated by the client. The work included around 60 pages total, with about 70 photos and some cropping/optimisation required. Existing logo used. I had to convert all the text to HTML.

I'm hoping that someone from the UK can give me a ball-park amount for what they think this project should cost. I know I've accepted a very low fee, given the large number of pages, because I'm still building my portfolio. But I want to know exactly how low. I know it sounds cheeky but I don't want to actually put the amount on here, because I want to kind of protect the client too.

I'm thinking a more experienced web designer from the UK could shed some light for me but that the market might be quite different in other countries. PM me or write a rough estimate here? It would help me out a lot, thanks.

We (that is myself and my associates) tend to work to a set pricelist, then add 10%. Then we say, we'll do it for you at -10% ... usually for larger or more renound companies. Smaller clients with simpler requirements like your site, we tend to negotiate -10% from the 'actual' prcielist total, or negotiate down even further if we feel the site is easier and quick enough to do.

Dynamic aspects aside (request a brochure, how to book, faq, stock image costs, content management system) ... we'd be saying something like £750 - £1,000 for this site (as you say, the number of pages is treble your average 5-10 page £200 - £300 site).

Be interesting to see what other people would quote.
