so, we've got a job where we're printing some pocket cards for folks to use in the health care industry, and we've printed them on plastic but they type is kind of haloed because of overspray.

the type goes all the way from in the 30pt area down to the 6pt area.

have you guys had that problem? is there a way around it? and further, do you know of other good printers that print on plastic?

many thanks.

Are you talking about 20mil or 30 mil plastic "membershiP' type cards? Is there variable data? A quick search in my database brought up www.ennis.com (http://www.ennis.com) They are one of our print venders. They may be able to help. Others would be Teraco Inc. and Navitor. Everything should be in vector format.

hey cc, thanks for responding. these are like a cross between a shower card (you know, something that might hang from a shower head and show you how to give yourself a breast exam, and a cross between a door hanger, i guess. they're about 4.25" x 6.
