Hi folks:
I have a Freehand Document with two Pantone Uncoated Spot colors.
When I export to pdf, the resultant pdf becomes cmyk.

If I print to Adobe distiller print driver instead of using the Freehand export function, the spot colors are retained in my new pdf, exactly what I want.:)

What little switch am I missing in Freehand to keep the spot colors on export from converting automatically to cmyk?

Hi,
When exporting to PDF uncheck the change color to CMYK in the setup buton that is under "Cancel" bottun.

Good luck,

No such check box exists. I am using MX Freehand on my PC.
In the setup dialog box there is only an option to convert colors to cmyk or cmyk/rgb.

No check boxes for a color change.

Hi,
When exporting to PDF uncheck the change color to CMYK in the setup buton that is under "Cancel" bottun.

Good luck,
Aloninet

Can you post a screen shot of the settings for the PDF.
