Hi GDF!
Its been a while since my last post.

I am making this website intended to collect and let people share graphic design bookmarks as my uni project.
http://grid.ilyatitov.com/

I am trying to go away from the usual scrollable website layout with this project, and explore ways of simplifying the task of adding the bookmarks.
The scripts fetches images and title from the page you are trying to bookmark to cut down the typing.

Still work in progress, and I am quite desperate for content so feel free to share your bookmarks.

Do you think the name works? Would something like 'bookmarxion' work better? Would you use a site like this?

Bookmarking is a weird area for me. On one hand, I love that I can visit a site, bookmark it, and come back to it later. On the other hand, when I bookmark within my browser, I find that I end up with so many that I can't even find them anymore.

I'm currently experimenting with putting some bookmarks up on Delicious, instead of in-browser based.

That being said, I find the continual scrolling a bit disturbing, for lack of a better word. It almost feels more like a video game to me than an actual resource, and actually gave me a bit of feeling unstable trying to use it.

I think it is lacking a bit of functionality in terms of being able to track your bookmarks, and the content is quite fluid. Makes it more random and interesting to explore, but you may not be able to find something you've seen yesterday...
But the good thing is that you can always build some kind of archive on top of the database.

I don't think it has to be a replacement for browser bookmarks, rather a place to find quality links to the relevant resources.

I've been using Delicious for a couple years now. I love it. Saves the hassle of having to take your bookmark collection with you. I also use (and love) the Firefox plugin, Scrapbook-- especially for sites which you suspect will have a short shelf-life.

I am not intending it as a bookmark manager like delicious, rather an online collection where you can explore things others've found.
Could you please submit some links
