looks more like a poster than a t-shirt design.
as a poster: KICK ASS!
as a t-shirt design: ehhh...
it's cool, but a little much for a shirt. i like the bear though.

In full agreement with xo..simply because of its poster layout. It would be better if it sort of made use of the t-shirt rather than having such a solid square border. the actual work looks awesome, very well done my friend.

Well thanks for the praise guys. When I started on it I wanted to make it look like a concert poster, so I guess I got that right ;) even if its not the best 'genre' for a tshirt. I wanted to do something different than past years shirts.. mostly they are like pencil drawings of a bear talking and saying some cheezy joke... and hand lettered 'spring day' which looks really bad. I won last year though, www.troopone.org/kyle/springDay03.jpg (http://www.troopone.org/kyle/springDay03.jpg) .

WooHoo, well I got the good news today that I won. Big whoop though, since all I get is a free T-shirt.
you may only have got a free t-shirt.... but:
a) the designs rock! second one more for a t-shirt... but they are both nice designs.
b) its work to show future employers (and you can say you won the comp, which is also a nice little confidence boost)
c) you get the satisfaction of knowing that everyone will be wearing summit YOU designed!
jeez man... its only a school thing... dont expect too much... I know I never got anything good from school after helping them out no end... they 'can't afford it'... more like they dont wanna spend, but like getting free stuff from you!

Congrats kid, awesome piece of work. Are they printing on white and are they able to hold the blends? Just curious.

holy nelly.
1) i like the design. nice one. looks like a gigposter straight offa' gigposters.com (http://www.gigposters.com)
2) when Iwas in high school, back in the day, the school didn't have money to print more than 1 colour. except this one time, but that doesn't go to good with the story.
does your school still have art/music/sports/textbooks? take it and run, my friend!
congrats again!

Thats Brentwood , TN .. theres brentwoods a lot of places, CA and MO too, but im just here in TN. Well, I'm pretty sure theyre printing on white, they said they could do orange, but itd be like 2 dollars more, and i guess they think no one would go for it. Theyve handled printing ok before, so im just hoping for the best! :) thanks for the encouragement too!
