I've occupied myself with other maters, and so I've given the 3D a time to rest.
I've chosen to make for the first time a whole scene, coffee table + chairs and walls around to comlete the scene.
I've used PS CS3 Extesively creating the walls and the picture. To make this a verified 3d image I made 2 copies, altering the lights and the pic's postion.

The chairs and their legs seem to be IN the table.
Oh and in the first one you have two different directions for the shadows.

Why are they both left handed?
The floor looks like muddy waters.
Random image of cows on the wall, very coffee room like.
Why are people drinking coffee out of teacups?
The chair has a shadow that goes around the table, nothing else in the room has a shadow, for some reason?
The chair looks like it's melded to the table.

I've got some Tums, Maalox or Pepto if you need it. But after looking at that mess, you'll probably need something much stronger.

Dont mind the funky 70s vibe youve got going on here personally!
Youve still got problems with your textures and lighting though. The textures are far too low res and it looks very blurry. Also as other said, it looks like you have more than one light source - normally in a room, the light would be in the roof, so it should be lit accordingly.
The table is nice. however, the chairs appear to be intersecting with it - how is anyone supposed to sit there?

you never listen to anyone's helpful comments, or try to improve on things they have suggested. Surely that would help in the learning process?
