screen capture software again

I have tried This lame ass software for half a month and it works well. I decide to buy it but I want to hear more advice before I do... Thanks.

why would you use software when you can just hit alt+print screen (pc) or command+shift+F4 (mac)

The software allows you to just capture a certain portion of the screen instead of the whole thing. Personally, I just use the one built into PSP. I wish PS had one...

I just screen capture, paste it into Photoshop then crop what I need. It's easier than actually taking the time to find a better program IMO.
