hey guys,

need your help guys. im a freelance and wanted you guys to help me to give pricing quotes to my client for desiging the artworks. im a bit new to this industry so would appreciate if anybody can help me out. right now i want to quote for designing a postcard front and back.

can anybody send me a link where i can get to know the flat rates for creating various artworks

I don't know about any links right now, but my understanding of the industry standard is $40/hr. Maybe you might want to charge less if you're starting out, but don't sell yourself cheap.

I'd recommend waiting on the other designers' opinions before drawing a conclusion. They're a little better about such matters than I am presently.

Industry standard is $20 to $150 per hour depending on where you are in the world and in your career. If you are in the States, pick up a copy of the GAG handbook (Amazon) and adjust the pricing according to location and experience.
